About Us..
Hello and a warm welcome to our website. After leaving Cornwall after ten years,
working as a Head Chef, running my own restauarant on the banks of the Helford River, The Yard Bistro,Trelowarren, part time
teaching at Cornwall College, we decided to head for Devon!
I
miss the Cornwall surf and beautiful beaches but the call to Devon was strong! My wife and I ran our outside catering business
from home, travelling far and wide across Devon, cooking for clients, mainly in holiday cottages, a very personal Chef service.
I then had the opportunity to cook for children at a Exeter Nursery, and then came our Meals on Wheels business, which has
been going now, since the Devon floods in 2008, so eleven years and going strong! I really hope I can bring a little of Cornwall
to Devon in the home cooking style of our meals.
Meals
on Wheels in Sidmouth, Exeter and Honiton
Dine at Home provides
a traditional Meals on Wheels delivery service in the Exeter & Honiton & surrounding areas. If you, or someone
you know, could benefit from our service, please get in touch for an informal chat about what we do.
This
service is ideal if you might need help in receiving the correct daily intake of nutrients, minerals & vitamins to maintain
a healthy diet, & may not be able to cook, prepare or shop, for yourself, so from a student at university,
busy professional, or an elderly parent or relative, or even after a brief stay in hospital, to help get you back
on your feet!
Delivery details
We
deliver three times a week. Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Meals ordered for the weekend are delivered on Friday.

Meals
are freshly prepared daily, with careful attention for variety as well as balance of ingredients. Puddings are all home
cooked. Meals are cook chilled & need to be reheated.
We can supply a filled sandwich for tea.
Our menus are changed weekly and can be tailoired
to suit individual needs.
We are allergen aware, and a list of ingredients
used will be supplied for new clients.
We have a minimum delivery of three days a week.
There
is no charge for delivery. We deliver locally in Honiton, and surrounding areas, including Sidmouth. The best thing would
be to contact us to ensure you are in our catchment area.
Keeping it Green..
Our production model
is very much in keeping with the Green Issues of the day. All our kitchen waste, vegetable trimmings etc are recycled. The
microwave containers are collected, sterilized and are re-used, so unlike other meal delivery businesses, there is no plastic
waste, this helps with the environment, and enables us to keep our prices low!
